Ipek

Ipek - AI-powered local workflow automation tool that builds processes on your machine without per-task fees or required code.

Launched on Sep 3, 2026

Ipek is a no-code local workflow automation tool for non-technical users who want to automate repetitive processes without relying on cloud platforms. Users describe their desired automation in plain language, and the tool builds fully functional workflows that run directly on their local machine. It supports API connections, PDF and spreadsheet data extraction, export cleaning, and works with local files on your desktop disk, with no per-task billing and no mandatory user account required.

Core Features

Ipek builds automated workflows that run entirely on your local desktop machine, so your files and source data never leave your local system during execution. Users describe their target process in plain natural language, including requirements like combining multiple APIs, extracting data from PDFs or spreadsheets, and cleaning messy export files, and the tool generates the full workflow on its visual canvas.

All generated workflows run in parallel on your hardware, with no per-task fees, no execution limits, and no additional cost to run the process as many times as you need. The AI agent that builds the workflow writes all underlying code automatically, and you can view and review the full source code it produces, which you own completely. There is no intermediate cloud server operated by Ipek, so no platform can access your private data.

Target Audience

Ipek is designed for non-technical process operators, team leads, and individual users who need to optimize recurring manual workflows but do not want to write full automation code or maintain self-hosted server infrastructure. It installs as a standard desktop application, no Docker setup, server configuration, or manual step wiring is required for end users.

Key Differences From Other Automation Tools

Compared to cloud low-code platforms such as Zapier and Make, Ipek runs workflows fully locally instead of processing your data on third-party cloud servers, and can directly access files and folders on your local disk in addition to common external services. All AI processing uses your own Claude API key with zero markup from the platform, and you can connect your own custom AI agent via MCP protocol instead of using the built-in AI features. Workflow scheduling, automatic trigger support for new emails and webhooks is not available at launch, and these features are currently in development with a public waitlist available.

Compared to developer-focused self-hosted tools including n8n, Windmill, and Pipedream, Ipek does not require users to have DevOps experience or manually configure every workflow step. The built-in AI handles the full process of planning, building, debugging, and wiring each workflow step based on your natural language description.

Usage Requirements

You do not need to write any code to operate Ipek. The AI handles all code generation work, and you can review all generated code before you run any workflow version. The built-in AI workflow builder uses your own Anthropic Claude API key, and all API requests are sent directly from your computer to Anthropic's servers, with no intermediate Ipek server accessing your key or your data. There are no platform accounts or user registration required to use the tool after installation. You can connect any MCP-compatible local AI agent to Ipek to support local LLM usage even before native local model support is added to the built-in features.
