How BadgeRelay Works
BadgeRelay separates your badges from your codebase, so you do not need to edit your source code or trigger a full rebuild for every new badge addition. The workflow has three simple steps:
Paste one lightweight embed script or server component into your site layout, usually the footer. This is the only permanent code change you will need to make.
Add your badge codes or directory URLs directly in the BadgeRelay dashboard, and arrange your full badge list in any order you want.
Click publish. All changes go live instantly across every connected website with no redeployment required.
Core Features
Single dashboard for all badges: Manage verification badges, launch directory badges, partner logos, and press mentions across every one of your products from one unified interface.
Instant live updates: Any change you make in the dashboard, including adding, removing, or reordering badges, appears on your public site on the next page request. No rebuild, no deploy pipeline run required.
Multiple layout options: You can display badges as a clean horizontal row, a carousel, or a compact grid that fits your existing site footer design.
Crawler-friendly rendering: All badges are rendered directly into your page HTML on the server, so directory crawlers and verification bots can read badge content and backlinks without waiting for client-side JavaScript to load. This preserves your directory verification status and SEO backlink value.
Cross-stack support: BadgeRelay works with Next.js (using the dedicated React server component embed), static sites, and any stack that supports fetching server-rendered HTML markup.
Plan Details
The Free plan is available for no cost, with no credit card required to sign up. The Free plan includes small attribution text reading "Powered by BadgeRelay" that appears alongside your badges.
Paid Portfolio and Studio plans remove the attribution line completely, so your site footer stays clean while all badges remain live.
Target Audience
BadgeRelay is built exclusively for indie founders, solo developers, and small maker teams that publish multiple products to different directories, appear on launch lists, and regularly add partner or press badges to their site. It removes the repetitive work of committing small code changes just to update a few graphic elements in the footer, so teams can spend more time working on their core product.
